"After 2 years in developpement, we released the first bio-degradable, non-toxic concrete dissolver / degreaser, the CreteBlasterTM. You not only prolong the life of your equipment, but you also give back to the environment we all live in. Just spray it on concrete buildup at the end of installation, the next morning just hose it off and it’s gone!"

Being new to the concrete business, it didn’t take long to learn that keeping your mixer and tools clean is easier said than done. After four or five jobs, all different colors, my mixer had become a mess. No matter how well my crew washed the mixer and tools after the job, the daily buildup continued. In talking with Steve Caldwell at Curb Appeal, USA, he suggested I try a new product he had developed called “Crete Blaster”. Steve said it worked great, and I learned he’s a man of his word when I bought my curbing system, so I ordered three buckets. My shipment arrived a few days later and I was anxious to give it a try. Crete Blaster has no solvents, so a high dollar solvent type sprayer is not necessary. Crete Blaster is also non toxic and is environmentally green making it safe to use right on my lawn with no fear of killing the grass. I misted the mixer and the tools to be cleaned. I checked the results after about 30 minutes to find dried white residue everywhere that was sprayed. I misted it all down again, scrubbed the items with a brush and rinsed everything down. The Crete Blaster had definitely removed a noticeable amount of the cured concrete. I repeated this process again to remove all but the most stubborn areas, and then I sprayed the mixer with Crete Blaster again and left it on until my next job which was about two weeks later. I rinsed out the mixer the night before the job and those last few stubborn chunks of concrete popped off easily with the water from the hose. Now I use Crete Blaster after every job to keep my equipment looking new and professional. Crete Blaster also leaves a light coating on your mixer and tools making the next cleanup easier. I’ve learned many things since I opened my Landscape Curbing business and one of the most important things is to always keep an extra bucket of Crete Blaster in stock.
